About this site

Why it exists

Face shape shows up in almost every hairstyle and glasses guide, and almost every guide asks you to eyeball it in a mirror. This tool measures the outline instead, shows the numbers behind the answer, and does it without asking for a photo upload or an account.

How it is built

• Static HTML, CSS and JavaScript — no framework, no backend, no database.
• Face landmarks with MediaPipe Face Landmarker, running locally.
• Six shape profiles scored against four measured proportions.

What it is not

It is not a medical device, a beauty score, a biometric identifier or a source of professional advice. Face shape is a styling convention, and a rough one: a single photo from a single angle can shift it.

Corrections

If the result looks wrong, the "Was this accurate?" buttons help tune the model. Photos with sunglasses, a strong tilt or a partial face are the usual cause.
